Welcome to ARCHIVE! ARCHIVE is an undergraduate journal at the University of Wisconsin–Madison that specializes in publishing original historical works by undergraduate students. We are unique among undergraduate journals in that ARCHIVE is run entirely by Wisconsin students and publishes work entirely produced by the UW–Madison student body.
ARCHIVE has been awarded the Gerald D. Nash History Journal Award, and since its founding in 2001, has published some of the University of Wisconsin’s finest undergraduate work. ARCHIVE offers promising students (history majors or not) a forum for historical discussion, a platform from which to launch academic careers, and a memento of collegiate achievement.
For more information, please explore our website and for further questions email our editor-in-chief, Kristen Schumacher, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, feel free to leave us comments, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy!
ARCHIVE is sponsored by the Phi Alpha Theta (Lambda Xi) and the Undergraduate History Association. Both are student organizations which focus on promoting historical endeavors on campus and creating a community for history enthusiasts. ARCHIVE helps to achieve these goals and to give voice to the diversity of historical interests on our campus. For more information on how to get involved, please direct your queries to Phi Alpha Theta and UHA president, Mike Hahn at email@example.com.
